REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSPORT OF GOODS
TO BE ABLE TO TRANSPORT GOODS TO AND FROM PARTNERS OF AVFALLSMEGLING NORD AS ONE HAVE TO FULFILL THEESE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS
VEHICLES
The contractor reserves the right to inspect the vehicle upon arrival. The inspection is visual, and the vehicle shall be in good working condition with no damage that can effect safety and/or environmental concerns.
All vehicles carrying our goods are to be equipped with tires and chains suitable for nordic conditions. All trucks are required to have at least Euro-6 classification.
Minimum requirements for all trucks during winter season:
- Front and drive tires marked with 3PMSF*
- Additional tires marked with M+S
- Carry 2 snow chains for front axle
- Carry 3 snow chains for drive axle
Additional requirements for semi- and trailer trucks during winter season:
- Trucks must have 3 axles
- Drive axle must be second axle or second and third axle in tandem
Additional requirements for trailers during winter season:
- Anti lock braking system
- All tires must be marked 3PMSF*
*=Some tires marked 3PMSF are by the manufacturer not recommended for use in the Nordics. These tires are not to be used.
EMPLOYER/OWNER
The vehicles employer/owner is the person or legal entity(company) that owns the truck either by direct ownership or lease.
Documentation of owner of vehicle shall be present in every vehicle and provided upon request. The documentation is to include name/company name, address, email and phone number.
EMPLOYEES/DRIVERS
The employee or driver is the person driving the truck at the time of inspection.
Documentation of drivers name and employment shall be present in every vehicle and provided upon request.
The driver(s) operating the vehicle is required to have safety shoes, helmet, high visibility vest, jacket or similar present in the vehicle. The driver is required to use the safety gear while working outside the vehicle inside the contractors facilities.
WAGE TERMS
All drivers must at least follow Norways lowest tariff and Norway’s rates for diet while driving in Norway.
The employer shall upon request provide documentation that complies with this criteria.
Faliure to comply to any of the regulations of this document can result in denial of cargo and/or refusal of reciept.
